President's Letter<br>April 2022

At Estes, caring for the people we serve is both a privilege and a responsibility we take very seriously. As the global supply chain continues to experience lingering disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, I know how important it is that our customers continue to have reliable access to the freight solutions they need.

That’s why we added nearly 450 doors to our vast terminal network in 2021 and made significant equipment investments that have grown our robust fleet by more than 7%. These enhancements are helping us to not only ship our customers’ freight more efficiently, but also keep it moving through our network as quickly as possible.

We’ve also grown our total workforce by nearly 9% since 2020 and continue to hire even more dedicated employees to help our customers navigate the ongoing supply chain challenges. From our dockworkers to our Customer Care teams, to our more than 10,000 drivers across the nation, Estes employees are committed to doing right by our customers every time. And because we value honesty and transparency, our customers know they can count on us for straight talk and real solutions, especially in these times of disruption and uncertainty.

As the nation’s fifth largest LTL shipper, Estes knows the vital role we play in the supply chain. And while I’m so proud of all we’ve done these past two years to support our customers and make freight shipping easier, I know we still have so far to go together. I appreciate you continuing to put your trust in us.

At Estes, going the extra mile isn’t just what we do—it’s who we are.
